Savory Dutch Pancake - Lake Brunch



With this simple recipe, you can enjoy a tasty Dutch pancake by the lake. It's a great brunch food because it has the richness of cheddar cheese, the saltiness of ham, and the freshness of green onions.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced ham
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, salt, and black pepper until a smooth batter forms

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced ham, and chopped green onions into the batter

Place a 10-inch oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter in it

Pour the prepared batter into the hot skillet and transfer it to the preheated oven

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the pancake is puffed up and golden brown on the edges

Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot for a delicious savory Dutch pancake brunch by the lake
