Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup finely grated zucchini
- 1/4 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Mustard and ketchup for condiments
Instructions:
Lean ground turkey, finely grated zucchini, mushrooms, onion, minced garlic, oats, grated Parmesan cheese, and one egg should all be put in a large bowl
If you want, you can add salt and pepper to taste
Thoroughly mix everything together until it's all well mixed
Take equal amounts of the mixture and form them into burger patties
Warm up a grill or grill pan on the stove over medium-high heat
The patties should be cooked for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done all the way through and have a nice char
For a minute or two, toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill until they get a little brown
Put lettuce leaves on the bottom bun of your low-calorie goodness burger
Then add a turkey patty, tomato slices, pickles, and any condiments you like, like mustard and ketchup
Put the other half of the bun on top and eat!
