Ingredients:
- 12 large Medjool dates, pitted
- 6 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 2 oz about 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- Toothpicks, for securing
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
Make a small incision in each date to create a slit for stuffing
Stuff each date with a small amount of crumbled blue cheese
Wrap each stuffed date with half a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick
Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack to allow excess grease to drip away
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the dates are caramelized
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving
