Ingredients:
- 4 cups chopped broccoli
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a pot, melt butter over medium heat
Add chopped broccoli and cook for 5 minutes
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer
Cook for another 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender
Reduce heat to low
Stir in heavy cream and garlic powder
Gradually add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until cheese is melted and soup is smooth
Season with salt and pepper to taste
